Responsibilities:

- Must be punctual and responsible for delivery on time.
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, Flat bed experience is Plus.
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any delays or issues
- Ensure the proper loading and unloading of cargo
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

**Skills**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record with minimum 2 years experience of Class 1 driving.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Proficient in automotive repair and maintenance to handle minor repairs on the truck as needed
- Excellent communication skills to interact with dispatch, customers, and other drivers on the road
- Ability to work independently and make decisions on the road
- Strong attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and safe driving practices

You must have minimum 2 years class 1 driving experience due to Cargo insurance requirements.

Must have chain up experience
- **Flat Rates for Rounders**:_
- **Vancouver - Calgary - $850**_
- **Vancouver - Edmonton - $950**_
- **Vancouver - Kelowna/Vernon - $450**_
- **Vancouver - Kamloops - $400**_
- **Vancouver - Prince George - $700**_

Most of the loads in BC are Drop and Hook.

Most of the loads are Night Loads.

Pay bi weekly by etransfer. First Pay after 3 weeks then every 2 weeks (Friday Night)
- All trucks are 2016 and upper Volvo/Cascadia bunk trucks, automatic transmissions,well maintained and in Excellent conditions._
- Scale By Pass Transponders in all trucks._

Expected start date: 2025-01-03

Pay: From $400.00 per day

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mission, BC V2V 2X5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Class 1: 2 years (required)
- winter Driving: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

- Class 1 Licence (required)
