We are a boutique education consulting company based in Vancouver, dedicated to providing high-quality academic support and personalized learning experiences for students. We are currently seeking an experienced **Math Tutor** to join our team.

**Position Overview**: We are looking for a passionate and professional Math tutor who has experience tutoring the **BC math curriculum; SSAT & SAT Math; Math competitions; AP math**. The role includes teaching **in-person small group classes** as well as **1-on-1 online lessons**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging and effective math lessons to students in Grades K-12
- Teach both in-person group sessions and individual online classes
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
- Prepare lesson plans and tailor instruction to individual learning needs
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and our consulting team

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized **North American university** (Math, Education, Engineering, or related field preferred)
- Minimum **3 years of tutoring or teaching experience** in math
- Fluent in **English** (teaching language must be English)
- Solid understanding of the **BC math curriculum** (both elementary and secondary level, and AP Math is a plus)
- Provide instruction and test strategies for **SSAT and SAT Math**:

- Guide students preparing for **math competitions** (e.g., Waterloo contests, AMC, Euclid, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible, punctual, and committed to students’ success
- Able to work in-person at our **Kerrisdale location** and deliver online lessons when needed
- Must have a valid **work permit** or **legal working status in Canada**

**Compensation**: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.

Starting at CAD 30 per hour

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
