**_Responsibilities: _**
- Lead and manage public relations (PR) initiatives and activities
- Develop and implement publicity strategies for the company’s products and services, including a crisis management strategy
- Develop and implement organizational publicity strategies for company events
- Create and manage a PR plan, including scopes, objectives, budgets, timelines, and etc.
- Analyze all media coverage of the organization and draft appropriate responses
- Recommend ways to enhance the Company’s public image on the basis of trends
- Work with Marketing Team on social media management to create a content calendar
- Prepare articles for corporate newsletters
- Monitor social, economic, and political trends that might affect the organization
- Field media questions, pitch stories to the media, prepare media kits and organize press conferences
- Engage in dialogue and interact with both internal business leaders and executives as well as the broader constituents affected by a company's product and services
**_Requirements_**
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, English, Communications or Marketing with a Public Relations or Advertising concentration
- Proven 5 years+ industry experience in Media Relations, Public Relations, or Communications
- Have a complete understanding of media needs and media relationships
- Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with an attention to detail
- Ability to work in high-stress environments, sometimes for long hours
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude
- Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $70,000.00 per year
