We offer: - **Competitive Compensation**: Offering attractive hourly rates designed to reward your expertise and dedication. - **Growth Opportunities**: We're always looking to promote from within, so your hard work and dedication won’t go unnoticed. - **Work-Life Balance**: We understand the importance of balance and provide flexibility so you can enjoy both your personal and professional life. - **A Vibrant Culture**: Work in a high-energy, guest-focused environment where your leadership and culinary skills can thrive. - **Community Impact**: Be part of a brand that gives back to its community and takes pride in building lasting relationships. - **Key Duties & Responsibilities**_ - Supervise and support the back-of-house team to ensure all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. - Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to ensure menu items are prepared to the highest quality, following recipes and standards. - Ensure that food preparation meets the company’s strict health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen at all times. - Lead and mentor kitchen staff, assisting in training and providing constructive feedback to help team members develop their skills. - Assist with managing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is stocked and ready for service, while minimizing waste and controlling costs. - Monitor food quality and presentation, making sure each dish meets Original Joe’s standards before it’s served to guests. - Troubleshoot kitchen issues and ensure timely communication between the front and back of house to maintain a seamless guest experience. - Contribute to menu planning and daily specials by sharing creative ideas with the Kitchen Manager and General Manager. - **What You Bring to the Table**_ - **Culinary Leadership Experience**: 1-2+ years in a kitchen supervisory role or equivalent, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or bar environment. - **Culinary Skills**: Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety standards, with a passion for creating delicious dishes. - **Strong Communication Skills**:The ability to effectively communicate with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams, ensuring smooth service during busy times. - **Problem-Solving Skills**:You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can quickly resolve issues to maintain efficient kitchen operations. - **Team-Oriented Mindset**:You enjoy working collaboratively with your team and management to create an enjoyable work environment and outstanding guest experiences.
