**OVERVIEW**:
Skillsoft is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Principal Security Analyst to assist with ensuring a proactive and comprehensive security posture for a customized eLearning solutions in a Hybrid cloud environment.

**OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS**:

- Ensure security for complex software solutions for Fortune 1000 customers
- Enforce system and environment security standards
- Manage resolution of security events in collaboration with a cross-functional, cross-departmental response team
- Create and maintain network and security documentation for Skillsoft operating environments
- Facilitate third-party and customer penetration tests and/or security assessments
- Remain abreast of security developments and trends
- Respond to security incidents
- Maintain security related tools
- Working with all aspects of the FedRAMP compliance program
- Evaluate vendors and partners for compliance with standards
- Respond to customer RFPs/RFI's as well attending meetings
- Develop policy and procedures

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- At least 7-10 years of experience in a related discipline
- Post-secondary education in computer science or a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Expert with AWS architecture/services
- Experience working with an enterprise SIEM system is desirable
- Experience with Web Application Firewalls
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience administering/operating network and host-based intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability assessment tools
- Experience with load balancing technologies
- Experience with Firewall/VPN Technologies
- Experience with Kubernetes and Istio Service Mesh considered an asset
- Experience with FedRAMP and other compliance programs considered a plus
