It's an amazing time to join Golden Life as we continue to expand our seniors housing, care, and services within western Canada.
Golden Life Management, Ocean Front Village in Courtenay, BC is looking to engage the contracted services of a **registered Social Worker** (British Columbia College of Social Workers) to provide the Operator with services as outlined below.
The services will include, but not limited to:
- Conducting assessments;
- Providing counselling services to meet the needs of the Residents and their families;
- Identifying applicable and required community resources for Residents;
- Advocate on behalf of residents and provide education to staff, residents and families with respect to issues related to Powers of Attorney, Substitute Decision Makers, The Consent and Capacity Board and the Public Guardian and Trustee
- Maintaining resident records; and,
- Attending interdisciplinary case conferences as needed.
- Providing consultation services to the, Director of Clinical Care and Community Manager to ensure a high quality of care is provided to the residents.
- The Services will also include any other tasks that the Parties may agree to incorporate. The Contractor hereby agrees to provide such Services to the Operator.
- The contract will encompass approximately eight (8) hours per week.
