Civil Superintendent

**Key Information**
- Must have at least 2 years in a superintendent role or equivalent experience.
- Must have at least 10 years of civil construction or equivalent experience.
- Civil/Earthwork/Underground utilities/Water & Sewer experience is an asset.
- Must be able to plan, schedule, direct crews within the budget and timeline assigned.
- Hours: Various shifts, project dependent, 12-hour days
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
- Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

- **Provide leadership and training to Foreman and other field staff.**:

- Work with the Safety Advisors to ensure the work is performed safely.
- Plan the construction function to establish an affective organization.
- Direct the overall construction program of the project.
- Ensure project is meeting construction schedule.
- Provide leadership to promote maximum productivity on site.

**Experience and Certifications**:

- **A minimum of 2 years in a Superintendent role or equivalent experience required.**:

- **A minimum of at least 10 years of civil construction or equivalent experience required.**:

- Strong communication skills.
- Equipment Operator experience or other field experience is an asset.
- Must have Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09) Certificate. WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level II and Leadership for Safety Excellence would be an asset
- **Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract is required and must be obtained prior employment start date.**:

- Proficient English Language skills required.
