**Job Description** What you’re responsible for**:

- Receive metal and deliver it to the appropriate locations
- Unload trucks and inspect material quality
- Transport car bodies and other ferrous materials to the shredder loading area
- Move bins containing non-ferrous materials
- Perform material identification tests using appropriate products or magnets
- Assess and remove unsellable material
- Take physical inventory of stock according to the set schedule
- Record incoming and outgoing material weights in reports
- Grease machine parts that require lubrication as needed
- Wash the machine when required

**Qualifications** To join our team**:

- You are able to drive and operate a manual heavy Shunt truck
- You have a valid Class 5 driver’s license
- You have at least one year of experience in a similar role
- You are bilingual (an asset)
- You are safety-conscious
- You are good at managing priorities
- You communicate well
- You enjoy teamwork
