Apprentice Plumber

**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in plumbing. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and learning essential skills in the plumbing trade. Your role will involve assisting with various plumbing tasks and projects, contributing to the successful completion of installations and repairs.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Learn to read blueprints and technical drawings to understand plumbing layouts.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Support the assembly of plumbing fixtures and fittings as directed.
- Help with welding tasks when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are followed.
- Participate in HVAC installations and repairs as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

**Qualifications**
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of how plumbing systems operate.
- Ability to read blueprints is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Experience with power tools is preferred; familiarity with carpentry is a bonus.
- Strong willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $16.00-$38.00 per hour
