**Responsibilities** - Organize, plan, modify, review, and optimize delivery routes as well as inter-site supply and delivery transports as well as industrial orders and making the best use of human and material resources (on time deliveries) - Establish and manage the schedule for the drivers - Take action to meet delivery requirements, solve issues and order errors and complaints - Provide support to delivery drivers for all problems related to trucks, procedures, road codes of conduct d and customer service and report back to Delivery supervisor and/or the logistics Director - Participate, with the Supervisor and the Director of Logistics in maintaining optimization and efficiency of deliveries as well as supply and inter-site transfers (cost/service) - Regularly monitor daily activities and outcome measures, with the implementation of "reporting" tools (costs, key performance indicators) - Make the necessary link with other departments to ensure smooth operations - Perform department administrative tasks (purchasing, documents filing and verification, schedule follow-up’s, etc.) - Manage and organize purchasing and supply processes for production. Select and negotiate and follow-up daily on contracts, delivery times, payment method and reporting with the accounting department, etc. - Help maintaining and developing communication and collaboration while always acting courteously and with professionalism both internally with different department at la Fromagerie and externally with company stakeholders. - Knowledge and reinforcement of the compliance with all internal policies and procedures as well as with the Ministry of Transportation and Health and Safety Standards and regulations (Ontario and Québec) **Requirements**: - Have a college diploma in transportation or logistics, or a combination of relevant experience and training - Have relevant work experience in transport and distribution - Experience and/or training as a dispatcher (asset) - Have knowledge of transportation management software such as “Road net” (asset) - Experience in the food processing and/or distribution sector (asset) - Possess a valid driving license and have a valid driving record - Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and demonstrate great ability to work effectively under pressure - Demonstrate excellent analytical skills - Has a sense of responsibility and autonomy - Has an open mind and ability to adapt to different operational changes - Great sens of discipline and organization and planning skills - Ability to work independently as well as with a team - Problem solving - Knowledge of MS Office - Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written). **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Dental care - Discounted or free food - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - RRSP match - Store discount - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday - On call - Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay Ability to commute/relocate: - St. Albert, ON K0A 3C0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Secondary School (required) **Experience**: - dispaching: 1 year (required) - Supply Chain & Logistics: 1 year (required) Shift availability: - Day Shift (preferred) Work Location: In person
