Framing Carpenter

**Position: Framer**

**Location**: Aldergrove, B.C.

**Responsibilities**:

- Measure, cut, and install dimensional lumber to create floor systems, wall systems, and ceiling/roof systems.
- Sheathe interior and exterior walls and floor assemblies.
- Insulate floor, wall, and roof systems for optimal energy efficiency.
- Safely work from ladders and scaffolding.
- Operate pneumatic and power tools efficiently and safely.
- Install backing and perform other related tasks as required.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in basic carpentry, including framing (joists, subfloor, sheathing, studding).
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools for carpentry work.
- Ability to lift heavy objects as construction projects may involve heavy lifting.
- Capability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Knowledge of concrete forming and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with drywall installation and restoration work.
- Skills in siding installation and repair.
- Strong background in woodworking and understanding of schematics.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Relevant certifications in carpentry or related fields would be a plus.

**Shifts Available**:

- Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Afternoon Shift: Monday
- Thursday 2:30 pm-1:00 am
