**COACH ASSEMBLY ASSOCIATE**

**POSITION OVERVIEW**

Join our dynamic team as a key contributor in the assembly and manufacturing of MCI coaches As part of our workforce covered by the Collective Agreement, you will play a crucial role in building top-quality coaches, installing and testing various components, and ensuring every step meets our high standards and deadlines. Safety is our top priority, and in this role, you'll actively promote a safe working environment and comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) regulations, as well as Plant Safety rules.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Install, assemble, and test various coach components efficiently within company-set Takt time.
- Operate a variety of hand, air, and power tools such as drills, impact guns, grinders, sanders, and torque wrenches.
- Follow detailed work instructions and read blueprints where applicable to ensure precision and quality.
- Identify and resolve assembly issues to keep production on schedule.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and improve workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area to meet 5S standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Ability to read and follow work instructions and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly is an asset.
- A strong commitment to shop floor safety and compliance with HS&E regulations.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
