**Responsibilities**:
**Other information**:
Must have a 2 year community college diploma in Health or Social Service Program, with an in-depth addiction concentration or complimented by other recognized Addiction Studies

Core skills and competencies certificate for Withdrawal Management

Must have the ability to facilitate groups independently or a willingness to learn

Knowledge of theories and fundamental concepts of Addictions

Current certificate or equivalent training in non violent crisis intervention, CPR, and First Aid certification

Advanced skills and experience providing a range of individual and group interventions for the age range of clients with substance and/or concurrent disorders in a treatment setting

Exceptional crisis intervention and relapse prevention skills

Working knowledge of Pharmacology/properties of illicit drugs and/or alcohol relevant to Withdrawal Management

Demonstrates excellent assessment, observation, and motivational interviewing skills

Knowledge of community agencies providing treatment and supportive care

Proven organizational, prioritization and problem-solving skills

Participate in team building, service development and improvement activities that contribute to a healthy workplace environment

Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated exceptional personal boundaries

An understanding of professional ethics and limits of confidentiality.

Good attendance record
