Gis Technician

The County of Annapolis is currently seeking a GIS Technician Intern to join our Municipal Planning & Inspection Services team This is an opportunity to work amongst the breathtaking natural beauty of the Bay of Fundy shoreline and the lush Annapolis River, where you will be captivated by coastal communities, towns, village, historic properties and stunning parks that are the pride of our County. - Qualifications_:
Due to the nature of this position, the employee must have strong computer, programming and coding experience, along with basic audio and video capabilities, and have positive past working relationships with multiple functional and managerial departments, be fluent with Microsoft Office, VMWARE, VEEAM, and WatchGuard, and comfortable working in an environment that has short timelines and high political and social media attention. This position will occasionally require work outside of normal office hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
