**_What we are looking for: _**
- 4+ years of experience working as a Retail Store Manager or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in sales and customer service
- Experience and/or knowledge of interior design (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral (required)
- Exceptional organizational skills with task prioritization, multi-tasking and strong time management techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High level of personal integrity and energy
- Must be able to work with little supervision and must be self-directed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

**_What will you do?_**

The Store Manager role has many diverse and interesting responsibilities, the primary ones are outlined below:

- Ability to assess and make changes to business operations to ensure optimal performance
- Accomplish department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities.
- Create a well-oiled sale team within a store including hiring and releasing staff as needed
- Train staff and conduct reviews when needed
- Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Create schedules for employee's month in advance
- Confirm and submit bi-monthly payroll
- Maintain accurate records of requests for information and obtain purchase orders and/or deposits in a timely manner
- Define objectives, identify and evaluate trends and options, choose a course of action, and evaluates outcomes.
- Make sure all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines
- Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our staff
- Create and maintain a cohesive working environment for all staff
- Welcome all walk-in customers and serve as the first point of contact
- Leadership that demonstrates a high level of customer service to assist in client decorating needs
- Possess design expertise and excellent product knowledge of the industry
- Administer, verify, and communicate accurate and detailed product information to customers.
- Maintain relationships with existing client list; develop new clients through various industry sources
- Ensure showroom cleanliness is maintained to guarantee wonderful client experience
- Ensure product inventory is well displayed and up to date throughout the store
- Maintain employee work expectations and encourage for personal growth
- Other duties as required
