**Underwriter (Halifax, Nova Scotia)**

- Bachelor’s degree in business or similar discipline, with a minimum of five years of experience in mortgage underwriting for both residential and commercial mortgages; or, a combination of training and experience in a previous underwriting role.
- Experience in alternative lending is considered an asset, as well as negotiation and sales skills.
