Job Summary

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in the process of breaking down beef carcasses into retail cuts o Assisting in custom beef processing to customer specifications o Using and maintaining equipment such as meat grinders, bandsaws, patty machines, vacuum stuffers and knives o Assisting in the production of bologna processing/specialty and smoked products
- Learning and assisting with various stages of the slaughtering process including: Preparation of kill floor, Stunning/sticking, skinning, gutting, splitting, trimming, and cleanup of kill floor.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time o Must be able to lift 80lbs from floor to chest
- Package, fabricate, and butcher meat products according to company standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
- Sanitize work areas and equipment regularly to maintain cleanliness
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate processing machinery efficiently
- Assist in meat cutting and other food processing tasks as needed

Experience
- Prior experience in the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of meat cutting techniques is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow strict guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $16.55-$19.00 per hour
