Jam Cafe

The Jam Café is looking for an energetic full time line cook to join our fabulous crew and assist our kitchen team in the overall day to day duties.

We are a very high volume breakfast establishment that is open from 8 am until 2 pm during the weekdays and 8am until 3pm on weekends. Our hours of operation offer a great working environment and are conducive to a normal work day.

If you have great people and kitchen skills and are able to excel in high volume situations and able to play well with others, then this is a great opportunity.

You would be working side by side with our lead kitchen team to learn all the aspects of our busy breakfast cafe. You will be responsible for assisting on the main cooking line and will also be located in other positions throught our kitchen to break up the week and learn how our menu is prepped from scratch.

Your wage will be based on experience, skill and efficiency and may increase if your experience reflects your skill set. In addition we offer an excellent tip pool that is based on sales that is meant to create a more level playing field for all employees. Tips can range from $8 to $10 per hour depending on seasonality.

Applicants must have at least their Food Safe Level 1 and have open availability as far as a work scedule throughout the spring and summer.
