**Overview of the Position**

We have a new and exciting term opportunity at Princess Auto to run a Food Truck. As part of the Blue Truck Grill Team, the Food Truck Cook is mainly responsible for the daily operations of the Food Truck, which will be located in front of our Panet Road store in Winnipeg.

A typical day will be spent preparing recipe ingredients and assembling dishes to be served to guests. You will ensure the highest caliber of food standards by managing fresh inventory levels, addressing guest dietary restrictions, and adhering to strict food safety requirements. You will support the service team by assisting in food expedition and service, and you could potentiality work with various Home Office teams to deliver on special events and occasional catering orders. You will provide training and coaching to the service team while promoting a positive team environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Experience working in a food truck considered an asset
- 1-2 years’ experience in a Cook position preferred
- Current Food Handler’s and Smart Choices certificates
- Extensive knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
