**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct classroom instruction on traffic laws, safe driving techniques, and vehicle operation.
- Provide hands-on driving instruction in various conditions to enhance student learning.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their driving skills.
- Develop lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment during both classroom and practical sessions.
- Communicate effectively with students to ensure understanding of the material being taught.
- Keep accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
- Stay updated on state regulations and best practices in driver education.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in teaching or tutoring is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate effectively.
- Patience and the ability to work with students of varying skill levels.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans for both classroom and practical instruction.
- Must pass any required background checks related to working with students.

Expected hours: 40 per week
