**Acme Fire and Safety **is looking for a **Warehouse Worker **/**Junior Fire Alarm Technician**

The qualified Technician should be outgoing, highly self-motivated, and have strong communication skills and a professional image. This person must be willing to learn and advance their career in the fire alarm and life safety industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Take direction from the on-site Fire Alarm Service Representative, supervisors, coordinators, and support staff as defined by company policy
- Assist licensed field technicians with inspections, repairs, and service
- Perform duties of maintenance and inspections on fire alarms, fire extinguishers and emergency lighting systems
- Ensure that the highest standard of system reliability and client satisfaction are met.
- Complete work orders and report in a timely fashion

Additionally, the Junior Technician will be expected to complete the following ASTT certification courses within 18-24 months of beginning employment. The company reimburses tuition following the completion of certification.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience using essential hand tools and electronics tools is an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work at heights (incl. ladders and elevated platforms)
- Ability to work in confined spaces (e.g. crawlspaces)
- Trades, construction or electronics experience is an asset
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
- Secondary school diploma, minimum
- Ability to work in a team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
