Intermediate Florist

The Granville Island Florist

We are looking for an intermediate florist with min. 1-2 years experience in a florist shop. You should work well with a team, take direction well and have a creative flair.

We will train to adapt to GIF style to advance position.

Job responsibilities include and are not limited to:

- **Help designer's in prepping flowers and orders. Making bouquets, Vase Arrangements, Making orders to GIF standards.**
- Help make walk-in customer orders and general customer service.
- Process transactions at the POS
- Set up display and make merchandise will be important aspects of the job as well
- Basic flower shop duties, examples include prepping flowers, washing vases, cleaning shop and other tasks that may come up in a busy florist
- Drivers license is an asset, but not required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
