**Job Description**:
Located in Montreal West Island, in Pointe-Claire, our factory is looking for **_an Electromechanic _**to join our amazing team. Relevant experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment and in preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, modifications and inspections is required. Permanent full-time position, unionized. Excellent working conditions, competitive compensation, group insurance plan, pension plan. Free parking available.

**Responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

- Work jointly with other employees of the maintenance and production department in the development, planning, evaluation and recommendation of corrective and / or preventive tasks (maintenance, inspections, repairs), as well as in the improvement and equipment development.
- Support the evaluation of required materials and maintain the inventory of spare parts, as required.
- Perform various adjustment, maintenance, renovation and repair work on installations, equipment and instrumentation systems and controls with the usual maintenance equipment.
- Document and declare new operating instructions, work and modifications carried out by reports, lists, etc.
- Participate in the design, installation, configuration and commissioning of automated and mechanical systems.
- Install, calibrate and maintain the various instruments (probe, controller, etc.).
- Respond to emergency calls and service requests.

**Qualifications**:

- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an electromechanic.
- Hold a diploma in electromechanics (DEP).
- Have RCA certification (device connection)
- Possess knowledge of motor control (variable speed drive, programmable logic controllers), compressor operation, hydraulic concepts, pneumatics, mechanics, electrical and electromechanics and be able to use them easily.
- Know the OMRON and Allen Bradley PLCs.
- To be able to read, correct and create electrical plans.
- Be able to communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Be versatile, responsible, autonomous, organized
- Have a team spirit and demonstrate a good capacity for problem solving
- Have a working knowledge of Word and Excel software.
- Focus on improvement and prevention.
- Demonstrate rapid learning.
