**About the Role**:
TRE Designs Ltd. is currently seeking experienced **Hoist Operators** for high-rise construction projects in **Surrey** and **Vancouver**. This is a **contract-based position**, hired through our temporary labour division, with potential re-engagement on future projects based on performance and project needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate construction hoists to transport materials and personnel
- Conduct daily equipment checks and log inspections
- Coordinate with site crews and supervisors for efficient lift usage
- Ensure all hoist activities comply with WorkSafeBC safety regulations
- Monitor loading capacities and report any mechanical or safety concerns
- Support general site logistics as needed

**Requirements**:

- Valid BC Hoist Operator Certification (Class A or B)
- Minimum 1-2 years experience on active construction sites
- Good communication and situational awareness on high-rise projects
- Ability to follow direction and prioritize safety at all times
- Punctual, dependable, and physically fit for outdoor conditions

**Compensation & Terms**:

- **Employment Type**: Temporary contract - duration aligned with project schedule
- **Benefits**: No extended health or dental benefits provided (WorkSafeBC coverage included)
- **Re-Contracting**: May be considered for future projects upon completion
