This position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manual Machinist to join a rapidly expanding and innovative machining company in Lively, ON.

Qualifications:

- Trade qualified
- RED Seal Certified
- 5+ years of experience
- Custom and precision parts experience
- Experience editing g-codes
- Have, and maintain a positive attitude and a strong desire to work

**Skills**:

- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment effectively
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
- Setup and operate manual machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders to produce components that meet precise specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, or CAD files to determine machining operations, dimensions, and tolerances required for each task.
- Use precision measuring instruments, like micrometers and calipers, to take accurate measurements and ensure finished parts conform to quality standards.
- Choose appropriate cutting tools and machine settings for each operation, perform routine maintenance, and make minor repairs to equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Pay: $27.69-$29.10 per hour
