**PURPOSE**

We are hiring for an Exterior Maintenance worker on a Seasonal basis. This is a short-term contract role at Parkland Mall.

The Maintenance worker is accountable to the Supervisor, Operations for performance of daily routine maintenance activities and tenant services to ensure that the property and its grounds are kept in exceptional condition and are presented favorably to the tenants and visitors.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Exterior Maintenance**
- Performs various ground-keeping activities such as exterior and parking lot upkeep, grounds cleaning and landscaping, where required, flower planters assembly and repairs, lawn mowing, sprinkler system operation and service, garbage pickup, to ensure that the property’s grounds are presentable and to not pose a hazardous threat to the tenants, building visitors and general public.

**Equipment Maintenance**
- Assists Building Operators with routine, scheduled maintenance of major building systems.

Any other job related duties and/or projects that may be assigned.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
**Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education**
- Experience in grounds keepings and/or landscaping is an asset.

**Core Competencies**
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Client service skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Neat and tidy appearance of person and uniform

**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Valid Driver’s License is an asset
