We're looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable craft beer lover with superb customer service for _**part time employment with flexibility to cover shifts**_. If you enjoy a chill atmosphere with pockets of business, have serving experience, outgoing personality,detail oriented and a craft beer lover. The ultimate applicant will have all the qualifications outlined below. **Regular Shifts**:Friday, Saturday & Sunday - Friday 5:15pm -10:15pm_ - Saturday 5:15pm - 10:15pm_ - Sunday 11:45-8:15pm_ **Some of your tasks are but not limited too**: - Serving/Clearing timely - Knowing how to utilize your time during slow times - Sunday Inventory Checks - Handling, selling and organizing merchandise - Changing Kegs, Filling growlers,Restocking fridge, Proper Pours - Engaging and conversing with our customers - Learning the descriptions and information of our craft beers - Knowing the history of Powell Brewery - General Cleaning Opening, During and Closing - Accurate Cash outs / strong math **Some of the Qualification you have but not limited too**: - Two Years Hospitality serving experience - Punctual - Strong Conversationalist - Must have your "Serving It Right" - Listener who retains information and follows direction - Committed - Reliable work ethic - Proactive thinker - Must be flexible to cover shifts now and again if needed - Experience with cash handling and POS Square system - Able to change, transfer heavy kegs, and flats of beer with dolly - Detail oriented - Very Clean with all areas of the lounge - Strongly self motivated and shows initiative (self-starter) - Organized/Multitask/Strong time self management skills - Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with our regular customers & new - Friendly, fun, outgoing, enthusiastic and happy responsible disposition. - Great knowledge of our beers and craft beer in general - Strong communication skills - team player - Productive during slow times **Job Type**: Part-time Pay: $17.40 per hour Additional pay: - Tips Schedule: - Day shift - Evening shift - Every Weekend Application question(s): - What are you looking for in a serving position? - Do you live in Vancouver? - Why does working at Powell Brewery appeal to you? - Do you enjoy working by yourself being self sufficient?
