**PETERBOROUGH, ON**: SKILLED LABOURER**

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the Production Labourer is responsible for a variety of tasks related to steel pipe manufacturing.
- Operate recorr and rolling machines
- Weld couplers and fittings
- Utilize plasma arc and cutting torches.
- Assists in inspections and repair of equipment.
- Maintains a clean, uncluttered and safe work area as designated.
- Performs all other general labour work activities as assigned and required.

**Education and Experience**:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent mature student diploma with good skills in reading, writing and math.
- Some experience in a manufacturing environment, an asset.

**Abilities and Skills**:

- Demonstrated use of personal protective clothing and equipment.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Must be a team player willing to take direction and suggest efficiencies.
- Ability to safely operate power equipment.
- Ability to understand metric and imperial measurements.
- Combinations of education and experience will be considered.
