The Cornerhouse on Main is a gastropub and craft brewery located in Stouffville. We are hiring for hardworking and experienced cooks to join our growing team in Stouffville. Our team is authentic, down-to-earth, energetic and fun.

**Line Cook**

As a Line Cook your primary focus will be to prepare and present food using standardized recipes and portion sizes while ensuring orders are delivered accurately & in a timely manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the quality of food is outstanding _each and every time_ and items are produced quickly and efficiently with pride and attention to detail
- Keep the work area, utensils and production equipment in a clean, sanitized state
- Perform all opening and closing assignments as instructed
- Follow safe food handling procedures at all times
- Adhere to the Health and Safety policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Program

**Job Requirements**:

- Previous experience cooking and handling food in a high-volume fine-dining restaurant is a definite asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

- Line Cook: 1 years (preferred)

Job Duties:

- Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
