**As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will**:

- Perform, organize, and streamline operational tasks to reduce the potential for errors
- Provide professional assistance to vendors, clients and internal team
- Monitor for problems, take immediate action where possible and escalate when required
- Support client with seamless order processing and fulfillment, responding to needs in a timely manner, resolving problems and providing information
- Ensure orders entered in NetSuite are accurate and up to date, including cancellations, return authorizations and change orders
- Analyze vendor compliance manuals and communicate client shipping requirements to internal teams and external vendors to ensure shipment accuracy
- Monitor warehouse turnaround time to ensure orders ship on time and investigate and resolve any shipping discrepancies or errors
- Provide relevant and timely inventory updates to the sales team
- Create reporting and provide statistical analysis, insights and recommendations to restock
- Take ownership to resolve challenging customer issues and escalate when necessary
- Back up inventory reconciliation when necessary
- Other duties as needed

This role reports to the Director of Sales Operations, Canada and is based in Vancouver.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE** |** **About you**

**The ideal **Sales Operations Specialist has**:

- 2+ years of experience in a sales support role, preferably in the IT distribution industry
- Strong attention to detail and a customer centric approach to work
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and pivot tables
- The ability to quickly pick up a new ERP system; NetSuite experience is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to develop strong, trusting and long-lasting relationships with clients
- Clear understanding to clients unique needs and experience
- Demonstrated strong sense of urgency and true commitment to customers
- Robust critical thinking and problem resolution skills
- Ability to take direction and to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a results-oriented mindset who proactively works with other people to ensure customer requirements are met
