The Furniture Ferry is a family run business in Victoria, BC. We are professional, supportive, inclusive, and our goal is to provide quality delivery/disposal/moving services to the greater Victoria area. We are operating in our third year of business, and as we continue to expand, we want to deepen our connection with our community, and continue to provide a safe, allied and inclusive service to those around us.

We are currently looking for a part-time/full-time Driver. 2-3 days/week are mandatory, but we can provide flexible full or part-time employment. We can work together with you to create a schedule that works for everyone.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver Furniture in a 1-ton, 16' Cube Van
- Drive to and from multiple locations, safely throughout the day
- Work with the Swamper to safely load and unload materials/furniture
- Assemble/Disassemble furniture
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with truck cleanup and debris removal
- As a Driver, you will need to be available on pre-determined work days to work with a swamper, and spend the day doing deliveries/disposals/moves with our delivery truck.
- As a Driver, you will be responsible for upholding the companies morals and policies, while providing a quality service.

**Skills**:

- 3 years commercial driving experience (preferred)
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment
- Ability to work well in a small team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License or Equivalent
