Foundry workers make foundry moulds and cores by hand or machine. Sand moulds are made and repaired using patterns, moulding boxes, sand and hand tools. Cores are used for the inside of moulds to form holes or void spaces in castings. Cores are made using core boxes, sand, hammer and wire or other reinforcing material.

**Tools & Equipment**: hand tools, gloves, safety boots, hearing protection, eye protection.

**Education / Knowledge**:Basic familiarity with the use of manual and electric hand tools.

**This is an entry position, onsite training provided.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- 8 hour shift
