West Coast Liquor Store Hiring - retail/wholesale Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

- Retail Cashiering; Check proper identification to sell liquor, beer, and wine
- Customer service includes greeting customers upon entry, waiting on customers, including but not limited to: finding items on shelves, recommending and selling merchandise to customers
- Stock and face products on shelves
- Cash out, balance till, complete cash out report
- Follow store and government policies and regulations
- Maintain the store environment including cleaning, dusting, and actions ensuring workplace safety
- Receive, review and check off orders
- Loss prevention skills
- Perform all other related duties and responsibilities as apparent or as assigned
**Requirements**:

- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Must be able to legally work in Canada
- Must have Serving It Right certificate
- Must be respectful and courteous to your co-workers and customers
- Able to promote and market products, and answer customer questions regarding products
- Able to read and speak fluently in English
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic
- Good cash handling skills
- Previous liquor store or retail experience preferred
- Position requires bending, standing, lifting, and walking constantly; long periods of time will be spent on your feet
- Able to work positively within a team environment

**Salary**: $17.85 per hour
