- Responsibilities_:
- Manage project schedules with Site Supervisor;
- Manage client expectations;
- Identify plan errors and omissions;
- Identify conflict between project documents;
- Resolves document discrepancies;
- Review Supervisor daily log sheets;
- Identify roadblocks which may cause delays in construction schedule;
- Assisting Estimator as required with creation of estimates, change orders, purchase orders and request for quotations;
- Review project documents to ensure consistency in information;
- Maintain technical knowledge;
- Regular worksite visits;
- Coordinate employee schedules;
- Coordinate material deliveries;
- Coordinate sub-trades;
- Monitor project progress;
- Contribution to improvement of company policies and systems;
- Maintain strong industry contacts.
- Requirements_:
- Minimum 3 years residential custom home construction or renovation full-time project coordinating;
- Proficiency in construction plan interpreting;
- Estimating experience;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Multitasking;
- Time-management;
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written;
- Knowledge of the residential construction process;
- Administrative experience is an asset;
- Knowledge of the building code is an asset;
- University degree or college diploma.
