Identify potential risks and escalate concerns appropriately in a timely manner.
- Sales & Marketing - Promote partner awareness of Trust services, particularly at times of staff turn-over. Partner effectively with RDs, STECs and TECs to ensure a smooth hand-off during client onboarding. Collaborate with Trust Officers, Property Managers, Investment Managers, Tax Officers, and Wills Department to administer accounts effectively and deliver excellent client service. Pro-actively refer clients and beneficiaries to CIBC partners. Maintain current knowledge of estate, trust and POA/Guardianship matters, including jurisprudence, legislation, tax rules and regulations.
- Administrative Support - Travel to client properties and safety deposit box locations to secure estate/POA assets and gather required documents. Oversee work completed by 3rd party service providers, to ensure dual custody of estate assets. Liaise with property management firms, appraisers, auction houses, co-fiduciaries and beneficiaries.
