**THE ROLE**
Under the supervision of the Facilities PSP Coordinator, the Sports Maintenance Person maintains grounds and playing areas of indoor/outdoor facilites. She/He operates equipment, as required. She/He performs checks and minor maintenance on equipment. She/He issues and receives sports equipment. She/He ensures maintenance of the facilities is completed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**
High school diploma AND some years experience in a related field
OR an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience will also be considered
AND a valid driver’s license (Province of Quebec)
**Experience**
In the issuing of sports equipment
In the preparation and maintenance of outdoor sports facilities
In equipment maintenance
**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership
**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
Bilingual Essential
