Gravel Crushing Crew Operator

We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic, individual to work on our aggregate crushing crew. This crew works at various aggregate pit locations throughout Southern Alberta. Our aggregate crew is extremely busy and we are looking for an experienced, reliable crushing crew operator to join our current crew.
**SUMMARY**
Reporting to the Crushing Crew Shift Manager, the operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Mobile Aggregate Crusher and various other conveyors, machinery, and equipment.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate the crushing equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment including routine cleaning to ensure safe continuous operation of all equipment on site.
- Operation of crushing equipment as well as the possibility of loader/excavator/skid steer/rock truck equipment as instructed in a safe and efficient manner.
**REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum 3 years of experience with gravel crushing operations.
- Must be physically able to lift and carry at least 50 kg on a regular basis.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment.
- Must be physically fit and able to work 12 hour shift work within an 11 days on 3 days off schedule.
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust, debris, and other airborne particles.
- Willing to work out of town and in remote locations as required.
- Must be able to speak, write, and read English fluently.
