JVC Group is currently looking for **General Labourers** to join our team. This position is a full time, long term role with a stable and consistent schedule in the local Edmonton area. The **General Labourer** position is required to be dependable, energetic, and safety conscious. They must demonstrate a positive attitude with fellow workers and clients and ensure all equipment is kept clean, properly maintained, and ready for work.

Compensation: starting between $22 to $27per hour

**Mandatory Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**

Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks as needed, including lifting 50lbs on a regular basis
- Experience in the pipeline or industrial construction industry is an asset
- Heavy Equipment, Hydro-Vac and/or Combo-Vac experience is considered an asset
- H2S Alive and CSTS 0.9 certificates are required. Training in Standard First Aid, Confined Space Entry/Monitor, Ground Disturbance and Fall Protection is an asset.
- Valid class 5 drivers license, with clean driving abstract

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.50-$28.00 per hour
