**MIDWEST MEIDL COLLISION CENTRE**is growing, and we are looking for a licensed Journeyman Autobody Technician to join our team

**The Auto** B**ody Technician is responsible for**:

- Thoroughly examine the vehicle damages
- Return the vehicle back to factory specifications
- Remove vehicle trim to gain access to vehicle body
- Properly fill depressions with body filler and ensure a quality repair
- Remove damaged parts using appropriate tools
- Bolt or weld replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment
- Straighten bent automobile frames using frame wrack
- File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools
- Aim headlights
- Replace bolts on panels and align properly
- Make cosmetic repairs
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Able to develop appropriate and efficient methods for each job
- Able to repair Aluminum damage as per OEM procedure
- Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Have knowledge of and the ability to operate machinery and tools required to complete repairs
- Work individually and as part of a team
- Have a high level of integrity and work ethic

**Designations/Training/Experience Requirements**:

- Auto Body Technician journeyman/journeywoman ticket
- Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset
- I-CAR certifications and training
- Mitchell estimating program knowledge considered an asset
- Aluminum training/experience
- Driver's Licence (required)
- Own tools
