**Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Prairie Meats. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing maintenance tasks on equipment and systems. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to quality and efficiency. This role requires a well-rounded skill set with a focus on **electronic controls**, as well as solid **mechanical and pneumatic troubleshooting** experience.

**Schedule**: Monday - Friday, Day Shift, 40 hours/week

**Responsibilities**
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues involving **electronic control systems**, including relays, sensors, switches, and basic PLC components
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on **mechanical systems**, such as conveyors, motors, pumps, and gearboxes
- Troubleshoot and service **pneumatic systems**, including valves, cylinders, and air lines
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- Ensure all work meets personal safety, **food safety and sanitation standards**

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or similar industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of **electronic components**, **control circuits**, and **basic diagnostics**:

- Hands-on experience with **mechanical repairs** and **pneumatic systems**:

- Ability to read **wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals**:

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
