Membership Sales Associate, Hybrid, Part-time

**Job Title**: Membership Sales Associate

**Job Type**: permanent, hybrid, part-time

**Expected Hours**: 26 hours per week

**Pay**: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour / net commissions and bonuses

**Start Date**: ASAP

**Shift and Schedule**:

- Flexible work schedules with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available
- Must be able to work weekends as needed
- Studio Hours are Monday to Friday 6:00am - 8:00pm and Saturday 7:00am - 4:00pm

**Location**:Oakville, Ontario

The position as a Membership Sales Associate provides assistance and communication to members and potential members in the areas of membership registration and information.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities included, but not limited to**:

- Handle member inquiries while providing information about our programs and packages
- Giving studio tours
- Selling memberships
- Following up on prospective clients
- Marketing in the city to gain new prospects
- Social Media Marketing
- Ensure clients feel competent, confident, and connected by providing excellent customer service
- Perform any other duties requested by management from time on time
- Participate in marketing and outreach events as required
- Participate in training and skill development training as required

**Education**:

- High School Diploma or GED required
- Post-secondary education in Sales and Marketing, Office Administration, or a related field is preferable
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, Sports Medicine, or another related field is an asset

**Experience**:

- 3+ years of experience in a customer service and sales environment
- Proven track record in sales leadership, preferably in the fitness industry
- Passion for health and fitness
- Leadership experience with a positive and motivating approach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, reliable, and excellent at managing your own workload and deadlines

**License / Certifications**:

- Current CRP certificate is an asset
- Current Standard First Aid certificate is an asset
- Certified Personal Trainer is an asset
- AED certified is an asset
- Criminal Reference Check for Employment with a Vulnerable sector check (dated within the last three months) is required and needs to be renewed yearly
