Housing & Conferences Service Assistant

**Position Purpose and** **Summary**
The Housing/Conference Services Assistant provides support for the Housing and Conference Services departments, and assists with departmental operations, and implementation of functional strategies for the departments.
**Key Areas of Accountability**
- Assist the Housing Services and Conference Services Manager with all the varied University’s housing, residence, and conference operations.
- Respond to requests for housing needs regarding furniture and related items (beds, stoves and fridges).
- Liaise with the Conference Services department to assist in function setups and furniture moves
- Administer and maintain the department’s housing management software systems functions to ensure accuracy and completion (Jenzabar, Aqueduct, Profitek, ID Card Producer Kantech).
- Assist with calendar functions on the conference software and booking calendars
- Provide administrative services for students, including ID cards and other services as required.
- Ensure efficiency within the office by establishing the best practices, standards, and procedures.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve problems from prospective and current students.
- Liaison with the Service Hub, serving on a cross-divisional student services team.
- Provide services as required using wisdom, confidentiality, and discretion in the completion of all administrative responsibilities.

**Standards & Requirements**
**Education**: Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
**Experience**:
- Experience in office management or housing administration (2+ years)
- Demonstrated skill in customer service, public relations, and hospitality
- Ability to foster effective work relationships
- Duties and responsibilities that do not constitute a major change may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of the supervisor either orally or in writing._

**Salary Offered: $44,500.00 Annually
