Tru Earth is looking for a responsible and reliable Procurement Manager to support operations. **This position is available for Mississauga (Ontario) or Burnaby (British Columbia) location.**

**What You’ll Do**
- Develop, lead and execute procurement optimization strategies in line with organization objectives including profitability and responsible sourcing.
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
- Conduct annual vendor performance reviews.
- Monitor/forecast market and price trends to identify opportunities/risks that may impact supply chain.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis using data-driven insights; benchmarking; change management.
- Govern quality expectations from suppliers as well as SLAs including managing and reporting on supplier KPI scorecards.
- Assess, manage and mitigate supply risks.
- Leverage industry best-practices.
- Provide critical input into the S&OP Process understanding and integrating demand forecast into the purchasing plan, ensuring high quality supply is available in the optimal quantity at the right time at the correct location in the Supply Chain
**What You’ll Need**
- 10 + years roles in Purchasing/Procurement preferably the Consumer Package Goods Industry.
- Completion of relevant Purchasing Certification; Accreditation (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Diploma (CIPS) an asset).
- Experience in RFPs and negotiations.
- Working knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Advanced knowledge of and experience in laws and regulations relating to procurement/contracts.
- Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain systems, LEAN principles of planning and vendor management software.
- Experience in International importing and exporting of consumer goods
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19. **Proof of vaccination will be required.**

- A leader with a proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, Agent or Officer.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office and business communications platforms such as Slack.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to problem solve and develop effective solutions under demanding timelines and schedules.
- Demonstrated ethical and professional behavior, including confidentiality.
- Proven ability to remain objective and unbiased.
- Entrepreneurial spirit coupled with the intellectual curiosity and personal drive.
- Exceptionally strong negotiation, problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to clearly identify strategic issues and make tough decisions.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
