**We are hiring a Protective Services Guard for our locations in Victoria, BC.**

**You will be responsible for**:

- Identifying theft, mischief, and fraud.
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.
- Observing, meeting and greeting customers.
- Approaching situations with a customer-first mindset.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor when dealing with the public, staff, and law enforcement agencies.
- Conducting security audits of the building and assets.
- Performing arrests, ask to pays, and product recoveries.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Documenting all evidence and typing clear and concise reports as required.

**You have**:

- A valid BC Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement.
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between various store locations.
- Solid decision-making skills with the ability to make quick decisions under difficult circumstances.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with mínimal supervision.
- Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
- Valid Advanced Security Training/AST (considered an asset).
- Fluency in a second language (considered an asset).
- Open availability (considered an asset).

**Compensation Details**:
$20.00 - $26.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
