**Position Overview**:
As part of the executive leadership team, and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President, Client Services provides enabling and supportive leadership and oversight via two operational leads for the organization’s three service delivery divisions: primary healthcare and health promotion, and attendant care and personal support services. Services being overseen through the operational leads include: inter-professional team-based care primary care, health promotion programs, community initiatives in partnership with other agencies, and attendant care and personal support services. This position is also accountable for the agency’s privacy office, decision support, and for ensuring accreditation readiness and maintenance.

The position will also work closely with the CEO other members of the Vibrant Healthcare Alliance senior leadership, key stakeholders and partners to plan and implement health system transformation and integration initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Works with the CEO to set the vision, priorities and plans for the delivery of all Vibrant Healthcare Alliances services and programs aimed at advancing integration and equity across the broader spectrum of health care and community development to enabling improved client experiences and health outcomes.
- Sets strategic direction for primary care, health promotion and attendant care services.
- Fosters effective client engagement and builds and maintains critical relationships with funders and community partners.
- Sets comprehensive goals for the growth and success of client services and programs.
- Oversees the planning and implementation of new/expanded programs and service initiatives.
- Provides leadership in the development, implementation and oversight of strategies, evidence-based guidelines, standards, practices, policies and processes to improve the effectiveness and integration of programs and services internally and with key health and community services partners.
- Leads the development, monitoring and reporting of performance indicators which align with overall strategic and operational objectives of the organization.
- Oversees the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities.
- Ensures accreditation readiness and maintenance.
- Promotes a culture which respects equity, inclusion, diversity and anti-racism and encourages all employees to work together to achieve results and contribute to a healthy, rewarding and productive work environment.
- Monitors and manages all relevant budgets and resources to ensure financial accountability.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in a health care or non-profit environment with a minimum of 10 years in management roles; experience in a community-based health care setting and/or a supporting housing setting is an asset.
- Master’s degree in health administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven partnership and relationship management expertise and track record in effective relationships with government, health care/service providers, other agencies, and stakeholders. Proven results in defining and driving organizational mandates, values, and vision.
