Warehouse Picker/packer

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Efficiently pack products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders.
- Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Build and assemble packaging materials as needed to secure products during transit.
- Operate clamp trucks and forklifts safely to move products within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking duties to fulfill customer requests accurately and promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation is beneficial.
- Ability to operate order pickers, forklifts, and clamp trucks safely.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow packing specifications accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Attention to detail for inspecting products and meeting quality standards.
- Basic computer skills for scanning, printing labels, and data entry.
- Effective communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with supervisors.
- Physical stamina for lifting and moving products.
- Regularly lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures in English.
- Must have the ability to perform all tasks with minimum supervision.
- Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, managers, other stakeholders.
- Should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Employee may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally and lift and/or move up to 50-100 pounds with assistance of another person. Assistance is available for weights above persons lifting capabilities.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
