We are currently recruiting for **Labourers** to join the **Vancouver General Hospital** project in **Vancouver**

This position is in Vancouver, BC and does not have camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance.

This is a 5 and 2 schedule with the possibility of working afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operating the man/ material hoist occasional when needed
- Rough (framing, backing, blocking) carpentry tasks as assigned
- Assisting with concrete formwork, stripping formwork, chipping of concrete
- Dewatering
- Handle and distribute construction materials (load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials; move tools, equipment and construction materials to and from work areas; remove rubble and other debris)
- preparation/ taking down of work areas as needed
- Assisting with the maintenance of infection control measures
- Using various power tools (knowledge & experience with)
- General site cleanup and housekeeping
- Review work area for damages
- Assist with other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction industry
- CSTS/ WHMIS Certificates
- Experience operating a Material Hoist considered an asset
- Able to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry
- Capable of learning through on the job training
