Position Summary
As the Art Producer, you will be responsible for managing, planning, and organizing the schedule for the Art team. You are fundamental to a game’s development: a member of the core team, the connection between production and the artists, a strong voice of the art team, and a thought leader.
You motivate, inspire, and support the team to transform concepts into reality. You are organized, with excellent interpersonal skills, and have a deep understanding of the iterative nature of creative processes and how to best coordinate them.

You’ll be working on Threads of Time, a 2.5D JRPG inspired by Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy where you get to travel from the pre-historic era to the end of time

**Responsibilities**:
- Establish the art production pipeline/guidelines and help manage the full cycle art production process and schedule
- Manage the capacity and velocity of the art team
- Prepare realistic project schedules for the art team, including key dates and reviews
- Identify and coordinate dependencies between the Art team and other disciplines
- Proactively identify risks to meeting key dates and schedules, ensuring appropriate steps are taken to mitigate risks
- Own communication between the Art team, Production, and Leads, including communication of the key goals, achievements, issues, concerns, and features
- Day-to-day management of the Art team
- Collaborate with Production in the creation and overall management of the art schedule and resource plans
- Contribute to the artistic vision of a game in development
- Foster and maintain a positive work culture and environment
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an Art Producer within game development production, with an understanding of game art pipelines
- 5+ years of Art Production experience with one or more complete development cycles in a production role
- Experience managing projects and building processes in video games
- Outstanding time management, organization, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented problem solver with a strong desire to positively contribute in a creative environment
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems efficiently
- Understanding of a mixture of 2D and 3D technical requirements
Pluses
- A love of JRPGs
- Experience using Jira
- Experience in Unreal Engine
- Resident of Ontario or Quebec, Canada or willing to move here
**Salary**: $90,000 - $110,000 CAD
