St. John’s Church, a National Historic Site, is accepting resumés for their Summer Tour Guide Program. Students returning to full-time studies in the fall of 2025 are eligible to apply.

POSITION 1: begins May 16 and runs for 14 weeks at 35 hours per week/ $17 per hour.

POSITION 2: begins mid-June for 12 weeks at 35 hours per week/ $17 per hour.

Applicants need to be outgoing, enthusiastic, self-starters and team players. The job requires excellent communication skills and an ability to speak French and/or German is an asset. The job includes welcoming and interacting with visitors, leading tours while engaging in the history of St. John’s.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct engaging tours, providing informative commentary in both French and German to enhance visitor experience.
- Utilize strong public speaking and communication skills to connect with diverse audiences.
- Manage time effectively to ensure tours run on schedule while addressing visitor questions.
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding groups and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring all guests feel welcomed and valued.
- Adapt teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and backgrounds.

Contract length: 14 weeks

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
