What you will do:
QA Analyst
This position has a hybrid work environment 3 days per week on the office. The office location is the Cineplex corporate headquarters at 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto (Yonge and St. Clair).
The QA Analyst is a part of the Enterprise Systems department within Digital and Technology. The role primarily focuses on automating test cases, performing load testing, and security testing on the current platforms and the newly built systems within the various portfolios in the department such as Central Applications, HR and CRM. The incumbent will be responsible for building and maintaining the test automation framework, load testing frameworks, security testing and interacting with the business unit as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Participate in project, team and development meetings as needed.
- Identify and report software defects using bug tracking systems, clearly documenting steps to reproduce issues and collaborating with development teams for resolution.
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
**Experience**:
- 3+ years of test automation & load testing experience.
- 3+ years of working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, agile team.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with automated testing tools and utilizing CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Selenium, Robot Framework, Appium or other similar tools
- Proficiency with bug tracking, test management tools using Azure DevOps (or similar), software security testing.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience recommending and implementing industry leading automation frameworks.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Contribute to the overall QA team processes/standards and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Experience collaborating with other internal team members across the organization.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of web-based software architectures and technologies.
